Comerica Bank Strengthens Ties with Black Business Leaders Through Key Appointment

In a bid to strengthen its connections with African American business leaders and communities nationwide, Comerica Bank has appointed Kevin Watkins as the National African American Business Development Manager.

Watkins, currently serving as the Vice President and Southeast Michigan External Affairs Market Manager, will work closely with Comerica’s African American Business Resource Groups and the company’s Chief Diversity Officer to establish external partnerships with Black nonprofit organizations.

Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University, Watkins brings extensive expertise to his new role. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Watkins has actively contributed to community development as a Board Member of Central Detroit Christian Community Development Corporation and through volunteering for various nonprofit organizations.
