FBI Investigating Who Leaked Names of Agents Who Searched Mar-a-Lago

The FBI is investigating the huge uptick in threats against law enforcement officials and their families since the search of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

Officials had reason to believe that the former president had in his possession classified White House documents that were to be turned over before he left office. The Department of Homeland Security has put out a warning that agents and their families need to be vigilant because some of the names of the officials who performed the search were leaked online. They don’t know where the leak came from, but congressional officials are sounding off.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar: “The Republican party used to stand with law enforcement, and I hope some of them do today because this kind of rhetoric is very dangerous to our country.”

Sen. Adam Schiff: “If the Trump people represented that they provided all the classified or national security information and didn’t, that’s a serious problem.”
