There is new information regarding the actions of two EMTs who responded during the beating of Tyre Nichols by Memphis Police. Reports say Jamichael Sandridge and Robert Long failed to provide care to Nichols for 19 minutes during a traffic stop on January 7.
In addition, 27 minutes went by before Nichols was taken from the scene in an ambulance. He died three days later.
Both EMTs were fired, along with a third one, Lt. Michelle Whitaker, who reportedly stayed in the firetruck the entire time.
