Senate, Congressional Democrats Fighting Voter Suppression

For the first time in 20 years, the Senate Rules Committee held a special hearing today in Georgia, chaired by Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

Stacey Abrams spoke about recent voter suppression laws are surfacing in multiple states. The hearing will also include testimony from Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA).

Congressional Democrats are exploring options to include voting rights access as part of the Biden Administration’s $3.5 trillion dollar infrastructure package.
