Shocking New Report Contradicts Police Chief Statements On Uvalde Massacre

“More angry that they’re trying to cover up a lot of things and trying to hold us back from speaking. Also, just that they should have just gone in there and done their job, basically. They just didn’t do their job.”

That was the parent of a student gunned down and killed inside Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX, speaking during a school board meeting last month. Many are calling for the resignation of police chief Pete Arredondo. The Austin American-Statesman and KVUE TV, have released shocking reports after pouring over transcripts and footage that contradict statements made by Arredondo that the police didn’t have enough equipment and firepower to get inside.

According to the report, the shooter entered the classroom at 11:33 am. Officers didn’t breach the door until 12:50 pm. The officers were carrying rifles and at least one ballistic shield. It also showed officers wanted to go inside but had not received orders to do so until much later. It’s believed that Arredondo was trying to find the keys to open the classroom, but it looks as though there was never an attempt to even try to open the door.
