2020 has been a wild year, to say the least, but we thank God for it all. So does Marvin Sapp in the debut single (“Thank You For It All”) from his latest album, Chosen Vessel.
“Chosen Vessel” is not only the name of Sapp’s new body of work, but also the name of the church he took over pastoring for in Dallas and a testament to how God continues to move in his life. Having left his church in Detroit to go to Texas right before the pandemic hit and shut everything down, Sapp was faced with a decision to sink or swim, and instead, he walked on water! Coronavirus shut a lot of things down, but not the church. Not Sapp’s spirit. Not his heart. And not his gift.
