New Birth Missionary Church pastor Jamal Bryant has been live-streaming Sunday services for his 8,000-seat Atlanta church. Once he receives the all-clear sign from the CDC, Emory University, and Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Pastor Bryant will have a plan for in-person church worship which will comply with social distancing rules.
April Ryan asked Pastor Bryant whether the call now is about health concerns or is it about supporting businesses, especially Black-owned establishments which have been denied federal stimulus funding. And adds that ending quarantine too soon means big business for funeral homes.
